Real Estate Agents – Have You Ever

  • Had a real estate sale fall apart due to the discovery of mold and/or moisture issues in the home that you are selling?
  • Wished that you knew more about mold & moisture and how it relates to the transactions of real estate and related liability issues?
  • Wished you had a reliable & reputable company that you can refer who specializes in mold & moisture intrusion and who can provide practical & commonsense solutions that represent the needs of both the buyers and sellers?

Fresh Air believes that educating all parties involved in the property transaction and providing practical, common sense solutions to mold & moisture problems is why we are known locally as the “Deal Maker and not the Deal Breaker” as it pertains to real estate transactions.

To further assist real estate agents, Fresh Air recommends our Fresh Air Certified Program to anyone interested in selling their home. The 17-point program is designed to identify potential issues within the property that could negatively affect the sale of the home. The information collected during the site visit is compiled in an easy to understand report that is generated on the spot. Issues are depicted in photographs and prioritized using a simple color coded format.

By using this proactive approach, sellers and agents are made aware of the unknowns that may disrupt the sale; repairs can be made within their budget and at their own pace. Home Inspectors will have fewer red flags to report. By making the repairs, the aesthetics of the home will improve attracting more buyers. When all of the recommended repair items are completed, the home gains the designation of Fresh Air Certified. This does not take the place of a certified home inspector’s report. What this means is that the parameters that can negatively affect the indoor air quality of the home have been checked and maintained to our standard. This is another assurance for the buyer that the home they are purchasing is cleaner and has a healthier living environment. Recommend the Fresh Air Certified Program to every seller for their piece of mind.and yours!
